Original period U.S. M1 helmet belonging to a 1st Lieutenant.
World War II U.S. M1 helmet with a front-seam shell. A 1st Lieutenant rank bar is affixed to the front. Fixed chinstrap loops, the first pattern used from 1941 to 1943.
The liner is marked by the manufacturer “Firestone”. Traces of unidentified unit markings remain on the sides. The name “SERMAK” is painted in white on the front.
The helmet and liner are complete, original and in very good condition. For the discerning collector!
